As a child, Teresa spent most of her time in the country side riding her horse, enjoying field sports such as hunting, and beating for a local shoot. Her love of the countryside and animal behaviour developed into a passion and remarkable ability for sketching and painting wildlife, to a highly realistic standard.

Her talents were first noticed by family and friends who began to commission portraits of their pets. Demand rose steadily, allowing her to become a full time professional artist in 2003. Her work is now so popular, that demand from collectors is considerable, for both originals and prints.

Teresa is now producing large oil paintings depicting scenes relating to many field and country sports and pursuits. In order to ensure originality and realism, her golden rule is to only paint from first hand experience. For example, she has recently spent a day deer stalking in the highlands of Scotland, hunting with local hound packs and learning about falconry.

She has developed her own technique for capturing minute details in all her oil paintings, by using tiny brush strokes and many colour glazes to build up a beautiful, let natural, finish.

She can be seen demonstrating her technique and works at game fairs through out the country.
